The Richmond 13.1 Half marathon and the 10k, organised by Perseverance Events is a fantastic race around Richmond just before London... prefect timing really.

Dorking 10 is a logo I designed for Sportsystems in 2008, only for Sportsystem's Entry webstore of Dorking 10's race. I've never even met the race organisers before. Clearly they liked what I did as I have now seen it on many people as a Tee Shirt. it was a bit of a surprise, but also very gratifying to know they liked it enough to use on their official Race Tees. I see they use my webstore graphics on their Flickr page too so praise  indeed:-)

A Canvas I retouched and had printed for Jess, a member of our running club that represented Denmark at the Olympic Marathon

A series of running related well sishing cards, being sold under the Perseverance brand. Ink and watercolour the medium used. Enjoyed doing these. It's really great to step away from the Mac once in a while and create art the old-fashioned way :-) Perseverance Car's website can be seen HERE

Probably one of my favourite rebrands, again for my running club, The Stragglers. This unique event skirts the beautiful Green Belt Way which encircles Greater London. 40 x teams get 11 people to run a relay around the 220 miles over 2 days. A few brutal legs, up to 13 miles per leg and 2 legs per person makes this an event not for the faint hearted. But fun and great cameraderie can be had by all... as well as getting lost in the woods :-)

Due to the organic and natural environment this event is run in, I painted up all the background graphics in watercolours to give an earthy feel, and designed my GBR man in such a way that teh initials G, B and R can be seen, although disappointingly, this seems to escape most casual observers.

Some races I designed for Perseverance Events this year. In fact these 2 events happen on the same day in summer in Wimbledon Common.

2 events I have branded for Peter Wedderburn from KBC Events. The Classic Harry Hawkes 10 miler which is enjoying a rebrand and re-birth thanks to Peter as well as the Hampton Court Half Marathon, a new event which takes in the towpath and surrounds of Hampton Court Palace.

A great privilege to be able to rebrand this prestigious annual marketing event. Used a retro palette with stylised flat graphics and teamed up with Fraser Metcalf of Vic Creative who produced some pretty nifty copywriting.

Claygate Country 5 Logo - designed to encapsulate the picturesque and leafy, village surrounds that the event takes place in

Designed this logo for a friend and training partner, Roy Reeder (Those who know Roy may recognise the silhouette :-) This race is run pretty much up and down the south bank of the River Thames in East Molesey, South West London. With the proliferation of swans in the area, the iconic Walton Bridge - which hosts the start and finishes and the Thames - I decided to include these elements into the logo.

A design for Huma Race - a Family Fun Day with  sporting activities for the whole family. If you've ever been to Dorney Lake on a sunny day and one of Human Race's triathlons or road races are happening you will appreciate just how much fun an event like this can be. Human Race's website is HERE
